Mac In Action is a student-run council consisting of eight members. We are a council that focuses on raising awareness with regards to local, national, and global issues through the acts of fundraising and hosting various events. Our main objective is to provide students with opportunities to complete their required community service hours, while passing on the joy and importance of volunteerism.

MIA provides students at Mac with various opportunities to volunteer, from one-day events to year-long sites. Not only is MIA passionate about encouraging others to volunteer, they are also excited to make a difference. Although our goals for the past few years have been focusing mostly on helping developing nations, such as Haiti and Kenya, we are planning to head towards a new direction this year. We believe that making positive changes within our community is just as important as reaching out to other parts of the world when it comes to changing our world! Therefore, we have decided to shift our focus to our community for the upcoming school year. We are looking forward to see you volunteering with us!

Join Mac In Action this year to help change another's life whether by tutoring a young child in mathematics or by donating money to a worthy cause. No act of kindness is small or unnoticed. So join in on the fun, the excitement and the passion.
